The Anxious Child

The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System is excited to announce the collaboration with the CARD/FDLRS-MDC to present a webinar on the "Anxious Child".  Please join our conversation with Marlena L. Jenkins, M.S., BCaBA, Lead Clinician, UF-Jacksonville FDLRS-MDC, Division of Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics and UF Autism Center University of Florida, College of Medicine. This presentation will provide attendees with a detailed review of anxiety and anxiety related symptoms in children and adolescents. The presenter will discuss behaviors that are often common in anxiety disorders and recommend what parents should do if they are concerned about their child’s emotional state as it relates to anxiety disorders. Additional strategies and easy to implement techniques to use when working with, or raising a child or adolescent with anxiety or anxiety related symptoms. All strategies can be implemented both at school and home.
